Description
The Flyfoil Transition Plate is a thin indestructible layer that can be added between the mast and the board. This reduces loading and potential damage to the board caused by point loading. Extreme riding and jumping puts enormous strain on a board’s mast-track boxes that can result in damage over time. This is due to the relatively small footprint of the base against the board. The transition plate can almost double the contact area and spread the mast’s load across a wider/longer area. The construction is super-stiff and virtually unbreakable. The transition plate is especially useful when jumping or using larger wings for heavier riders, or when accidentally running aground.
